Q·01What is my company worth? Will you tell me in the free call?+
No, and be wary of anyone who does: a number given in half an hour without financial statements is a feeling, not a valuation. In the call we understand the situation and tell you whether the Sale Readiness Assessment makes sense. The value, with its range and its reasons, comes in the dossier.
Q·02How do you guarantee confidentiality?+
It is the first concern of anyone selling, and we treat it as such: a confidentiality agreement signed before we receive any document, a dedicated data room, no contact with third parties without your written approval. Employees, customers and suppliers know nothing until you decide.
Q·03What does the Sale Readiness Assessment contain?+
A 10-20 page dossier: value with three methods (asset-based, income/cash-flow, market multiples) and a realistic price range; what raises and what lowers the value; the points a buyer will challenge in due diligence; the most tax-efficient route to cash in (sale of shares or of the business, holding company before the sale, PEX participation exemption regime); a 6-12 month roadmap.
Q·04Do you find the buyer?+
If after the dossier you decide to sell, yes: we prepare the memorandum, identify and contact potential buyers anonymously (competitors, groups, funds, managers), and manage the negotiation, due diligence and contracts through to closing. This is the sale mandate, with a retainer and a success fee: the Assessment is credited in full.
Q·05How long does it take to sell?+
From dossier to closing, between 6 and 12 months in most cases. Timing depends above all on how "ready" the company is: clean accounts, contracts in order, less dependence on the owner. The dossier tells you what to fix first, and that is often what makes the difference on price.
