Q·01Is a holding company always worthwhile?+
No. In most of the cases we see, a holding company is not needed, or not needed yet. It pays off when profits stay in the company, there are several companies to coordinate, a business succession to manage or shareholders with different needs. The Structure Review exists precisely to answer this with numbers — including when the answer is no.
Q·02What exactly do I receive?+
An 8–16 page dossier: a snapshot of the current structure, three quantified scenarios (status quo and two alternative architectures) compared on tax burden, structural costs, governance and risks, our recommendation, roadmap and execution costs of each scenario. Plus a kick-off and a review meeting.
Q·03How long does it take, and how much of my time does it need?+
Two to three weeks from receipt of the documents (financial statements, tax returns, articles of association, any shareholders' agreements). Your commitment is about two and a half hours: a 60-minute kick-off and a 90-minute review meeting.
Q·04Do I need to change accountant?+
No. We routinely work alongside the accountant who already handles your bookkeeping: they remain your point of contact, while we look after structure and planning. We never offer bookkeeping or tax returns to clients referred to us by a colleague.
Q·05What happens after the Structure Review?+
You decide. If you choose to carry out one of the scenarios with us within 60 days, the fee is credited in full against the engagement. If you prefer to have it carried out by others or to do nothing, the dossier is yours: it is already the quote for the transaction.
